Couch to 5km Program
Running has become one of the most popular ways of getting and keeping fit in recent years. The joys of only needing a pair of running shoes and time is a big draw as well as the many fun run events you can get involved in, in and around Geneva.
So, how do you get started?
Many people simple go out and try to run around the block and realise that after a few minutes they are totally exhausted, out of breath and some times in pain. Then the nice new running shoes go back in the cupboard until the next burst of enthusiasm.
Couch to 5km
With a specific training plan designed for beginners and people coming back from injury, you can be running around the block multiple times, comfortably, with no pain with in just a few months. There are many beginner running programs out there. We use the NHS Couch to 5km training plan and spread the training over 12 weeks running twice a week.
